Topsoil does exhibit some variation in its nutrient status and spread at certain rates, it will provide a benefit to the soil by increasing the amount of organic matter in the system and act as a soil conditioner.

The natural Nitrogen level in the soil conditioner will ensure the soil system does not become depleted as the Organic Matter is incorporated into the soil profile. Description:

Clay Based - 12mm Screened Dry Topsoil. The natural soil product is screened and sieved to remove soil clumps, bits of wood and other foreign matter.

Commonly used for:

Topping up existing garden bedding, new garden bedding, lawn maintenance & repair, laying new lawns. Ideally this soil can be used in gardens or where there is a need to promote soil structure and increased mirco organism count.

Tip:

Topsoil contains micro-organisms and organic matter, which will aid in plant growth. If you wish to plant directly into topsoil a mix with compost or garden mix is advised. When using for new lawn or lawn repair a blend with sand or pumice will assist in drainage.
