As garden rocks are a natural product they can vary in shape. Garden rocks are ideal in high wind areas or where fallen leaves are an issue. Leaves can be blown or vacuumed easily without the worry about garden rocks moving.  When using as decorative mulch, we recommend laying weed mat prior to laying garden rocks, to suppress weed growth in your garden. In cooler climates the heat retained by river rock can extend the growing season. For best decorative landscaping results, hose the river rocks down after laying.
