Garden Mix, Garden Soil

This garden soil or Garden Mix is a blend of bark fines with nutrients added to assist in plant growth.  Garden Mix is a grow media that can be planted directly into and is perfect for vegetable gardens. This is the most popular outdoor garden soil for general garden bed planting, raised gardens and planter boxes. Garden Mix is designed to be used as an easily applied layer directly on top of the garden (there is no need to dig in).  For maximum benefits of Garden Mix and to also optimise your plant growth, apply a 100mm covering of Mulch, this is especially important in hot/dry conditions.  If you prefer a stone or pebble mulch can be used on top of weedmat.

Garden Mix Description:

A blend of bark fines, CAN, lime and further nutrients added to assist in plant growth.

Garden Mix is commonly used for:

Adding nutrients to existing garden beds or used as a growing medium for new garden beds, planter boxes, raised gardens, vege gardens and to top up existing garden beds.

How to use this garden soil:

Lay the garden soil at about a depth of 100mm – 300mm. Plant and generously water. Our garden mix can be directly planted into.

Tip:

When using garden mix in planter boxes we recommend using drainage metal in the base of the planter box to help with drainage.
